As a collaboration-oriented professional, Sam brings expertise in project management, leadership, digital health, and a career in complex healthcare environments.

Eric Gasser is the VP and CIO of Information Systems at Wooster Community Hospital Health. Has has 18 years of experience in information systems and clinical informatics with 15 years of experience working with MEDITECH. One of Eric’s most notable accomplishments was leading WCH to become the first MEDITECH hospital in Ohio to be approved by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy for CPOE.

Kelly Lippold has been actively involved in MEDITECH and the informatics world for the past 17+ years. Initially Kelly started out in the clinical realm of MEDITECH (NUR/PCS, OM, EDM, EMR, PDoc), but as her roles change, she has also assisted in lab, financial, pharmacy, imaging, ambulatory. This has given Kelly a unique global perspective of the interactions within MEDITECH.

Randall Brandt is a dedicated healthcare professional and community leader with nearly 30 years of service as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant in Mauston, Wisconsin. Known for his passion for improving healthcare delivery, Randall has held several leadership roles at Mile Bluff Medical Center, including Lead Advanced Practice Provider, Urgent Care Director, and member of the Medical Executive Board.

As the Director of Information Systems at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Joe is responsible for managing IT infrastructure and security, overseeing staffing and budgeting, project management, and ensuring application support for the organization’s MEDITECH systems. He led two successful Early Adopter projects for MEDITECH applications—Point of Care in 2018 and Expanse Patient Care in 2020.

His goal as Treasurer is to ensure the MUSE organization operates responsibly with financial resources not only for current initiatives, but in preparation for future goals.

Jackie Rice serves as the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Frederick Health. Frederick Health has a long history of collaborating with other MEDITECH sites by providing support and information about MEDITECH initiatives, as well as learning from other sites. Jackie has long been a member of MUSE, attending many MUSE activities, doing presentations, and serving on panels. She believes we are better together as a community.

The MUSE organization is supported and managed by a dedicated group of volunteers. The MUSE Board of Directors is responsible for the effective management of the organization, including financial and program strategies and policies.
